Milka spent the majority of her childhood on a blissfull island, Buyukada. She found the Island life to be a slower, and more gentle way of living as opposed to her life in the city. On the Island, time felt as though is stood still and the air were filled with nostalgia. She admired the architecture on the island; mansions of the Ottoman Empire and their charming balconies. With the sun in her face, salt in her hair, and warmth in her heart she would ride her bike around until nightfall.
